Like other reviews commented, this skirt has a super big waist. It's not proportional in size at all. Too bad had to return because the design is cute.

Great quality but too big

The skirt is beautiful and great quality but like others said, it’s way too big around the waist and no way to adjust. My daughter is 3 years old wears a 4T and the matching shirt fits fine but the skirt slips right off.

Runs really huge

My daughter typically wears an 8 in Gymboree but I sized down to a 7 since she is slim. It was still way too huge - the waist was almost twice the size of a pair of size 8 Gymboree leggings.

Runs HUGE

I ordered both a 4T and 5T for my thin five year old because some her Gymboree skirts run large. The 4T completely falls off and there is no way to tighten the waist band. It is super cute and I will likely try to get an even smaller size but then worry about the length.
